Matt Stewart

Matt begun as Principal of Blyth Primary School in 2023. He has worked in a range of leadership roles within Mid North Schools since 2017 including Brinkworth Primary and ECC, Burra Community School and Booborowie Primary School. He has a strong belief that the wellbeing of staff and students is paramount in creating a positive environment for learning and building strong relationships. Along with his role as Principal, Matt teaches Health and Physical Education across the year levels. Sustainability and Outdoor Environments are also a focus for Matt. He can often be found discussing fruit and vegetable projects with everyone, and he is the in-school beekeeper, where BPS has three hives on site.
